The Icon tower rising 173m from the dropoff area, consists of an indigo hotel hosting 179 hotel rooms and a tier-A office providing 60,000sqm of leasable space.

The facade design emphasizes verticality and simplicity. Inspired by the hill town skyline and hill village roofscape, a natural rhythm of vertical fins was designed to attach to the curtain wall system to resonate the impression of the Chongqing skyline.

At the base, the building volume shifts and staggers where to create a natural transition to the rest of the podium. The building mass accommodates hotel’s the all-day dining and banquet room with an outdoor garden, as well as the office’s large conference room with a view of the park.

The service apartments are twin towers that provide 1,330 compact units with direct access to the great offering from the Garden Village.

The design expands the main tower inspiration of a hill town roofscape the natural scattering of verticality elements, with vertical fins on the solid part of the window wall building envelope.
