The Service apartment design is part of a mixed-use project in Xiamen China. The design is inspired by boats and the ocean since the City is a coastal island, the local culture has a lot of fisherman’s village influence.

The building also needs to span over the major armature that connects the main commercial building with the for-sale retail and the waterfront park. The asymmetrical layout and the big span are the challenges of this project, which also shaped the main character in its look.

Revit is used to build the building and facade element, which helped to control the type of glass fiber reinforced concrete panel.
