The City of Fontana is undertaking extensive renewal/expansion of its current facility, one of which is its current city hall expansion to accommodate increasing staff and workload. The new building will replace the current fire district admin building and provide department offices, conference rooms, a staff lounge with outdoor patio space, and a TV recording studio that needs extra soundproofing from all directions.

The design is simple yet elegantly executed, Metal cladding was designed as the entry facade, to honor the old steel factory that’s part of the city’s important history.
