The design focuses on enhancing the existing strengths of the site while addressing underperforming retail elements. A key advantage of the current village is its human-scaled, low-profile buildings, which maintain an open visual connection to the marina as visitors approach from the hill. So in the new proposal, we choose to lower development density to maintain the quality. To revitalize the lagging retail, we proposed a central-market style F&B —an increasingly popular feature in contemporary developments. This addition is intended to energize the retail experience, creating a more dynamic environment and improving retail performance.
